Since 2010, Lasse Nipkow has been a sought-after keynote speaker and educator in the field of 3D audio music production. His expertise spans live and online seminars, conference talks, and professional masterclasses. Known for making complex concepts accessible and engaging, he speaks to both audio professionals and curious newcomers with equal clarity.
With over 500 music productions to his name – including collaborations with internationally renowned artists such as George Gruntz, Daniel Schnyder, the Gershwin Piano Quartet, and the Stradivari Quartet – Lasse combines technical mastery with artistic intuition. Since 2015, he has focused increasingly on integrating immersive spatial concepts into electronic music.
In 2022, together with his longtime music partner Olaf Strassen, he released the immersive album Sonic Leaks (Silent Work) in both Dolby Atmos and Auro-3D formats. That same year, he began his PhD under Professor Hyunkook Lee at the University of Huddersfield, delving even deeper into spatial audio research.
Lasse is also co-author of the Handbook of Sound Studio Technology , published by De Gruyter Saur – a standard reference in professional audio engineering for over 50 years.
